All FluentDog training includes support between lessons, so you never have to worry about getting stuck.
The biggest difference between our programs is different levels of training goals and how much we do for you to save you time & effort.
The more time we spend with you and your dog, the more we can achieve and the more reliable your dog will be in more situations. You can choose the program you want based on your preferences.
We recognize all dogs and owners are different, and we want to make sure you achieve your training goals. That’s why all FluentDog programs include support, either virtually or in person, so you never have to worry about getting stuck.
For private lessons, we serve areas within or near Frederick County, Maryland: Urbana, Frederick, Mount Airy, Damascus, Clarksburg, Adamstown, Buckeystown, etc.
Board and Train clients come to us from all over the mid-Atlantic region!
And yes, we work with puppies too!

Canine Charm School
You want the freedom to do what you love while your dog is around. Have people over. Go to the park. Walk without being dragged down the street. Be able to leave for work without getting muddy paws all over your clothes.
Our Canine Charm School program allows you to enjoy life with your dog around the house and around town because you have confidence they will listen. We’ll show you how to get your dog to do what you want… the first time you ask. No more “sit…Sit… SIT!!!”

Set for Life
In the Set for Life Program, you get the most follow up support of our lesson programs. We will hold your hand via private lessons, practicing around other people and dogs, and even a board-and-train portion covering offleash skills so your dog can reach his full potential.
The program begins with private lessons at our facility, so you and your dog will gain a strong foundation in how to communicate with each other. We’ll also cover the key obedience commands you can use to communicate with your dog every day: sit, down, come, stay, leave it, place and walking on a loose leash.
Not only will we make sure your dog has excellent house manners and listens to you even around distractions, we’ll also make sure your dog listens when they don’t have a leash on…
Which is awesome because most family dogs spend 99% of the time off-leash at home. You’ll be able to get them to listen without having to physically be near them.
We teach offleash skills in a Monday-Friday training camp, so your pup can progress quickly with a professional trainer, and you won’t have to spend too much time away from your dog. Your dog will stay overnight from Monday until Friday, when you’ll pick him or her up and have a lesson covering new skills. When you drop off your dog on the next Monday, we’ll pick up training and focus on any areas you may have struggled with over the weekend.
Our Set for Life program also comes with a LIFETIME support guarantee so you never have to worry about your dog’s training slipping over time. You and your dog can always come by for a refresher lesson, free of charge, whether you need help or you just want help teaching your dog cool tricks.
This program includes:
- 6 private lessons
- 10 days of overnight training camp to teach offleash skills (split over 2 weeks, with your dog coming home to you on weekends to practice)
- Manners like waiting at doors, not jumping on people or stealing food off counters, crate training, staying calm when asked and more
- Listening around the house AND in public off-leash, and around distractions
- Lifetime support via private or group lessons to brush up your skills if needed in the future
- All training equipment included
We also offer a board-and-train version of the Set for Life program if you prefer a professional to lay the initial foundation and then teach you how to maintain the training.
